New Mexico Centennial Event
Hotel Eklund in association with the Clayton-Union County Chamber of Commerce is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the state of New Mexico. Storytelling & readings from 4-5:10pm with traditional music by Audrey Davis Trio of Taos, NM. Buffet banquet featuring Northern NM dishes from 5:15-7:30pm. Contact the Eklund for dinner reservations. Traditional games and crafts from 7:30-10pm.

A Night at the Herzstein Museum
Friday the Thirteenth from 6:30-8pm tour the museum with a flashlight as it comes alive in the dark. Refreshments will be served. $7 per person, family of 4-$20, family of 5-$25. Hear Black Jack tell his story in his own words, just after his decapitation.

Annual Legislative Luncheon
Barbeque in January held in Santa Fe, NM from 11am-1:30pm. This luncheon is a great opportunity to discuss important issues regarding our rural area and hearing views on these topics from our legislators.

St. Francis Xavier Building Campaign Fundraiser

Comedy Night at the Hotel Eklund
The Fine Gentleman's Club, four stand up comics from Denver, have agreed to stop in at the Eklund tonight, on their way to Oklahoma City. Show starts at 7pm and is free to the public.

Annual Clayton Arts Festival
It’s time to mark your calendar for the 39th Annual Clayton Arts Festival; a juried festival of 40 booths of handcrafted items and hundreds of original art pieces from exceptional artists, both local and out of state.
