This is the Official site of the Clayton-Union County Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Information Center. Clayton is known as "Crossroads Country" and is located in the northeastern corner of New Mexico, bordering Colorado, Oklahoma, and Texas.

The elevation is 5,050 ft. with a population of approximately 2,980 as of the 2010 census. The population of Union County is 4,549.

Clayton offers many scenic and historic sites as well as a variety of attractions within driving distance that are great for 'day trips.' Come and see for yourself!
